Hasbro Yahtzee Jr. - Toy Story 3 Game Review

I'll be honest, I didn't know how to play Yahtzee prior to my 4 1/2 year old receiving this game as a gift. It was so easy and a lot of fun for both of us. I'm always looking for things to do with him that are entertaining for both of us and this is definitely one game we both enjoy. It is a very simple concept, and the game itself is easy, but I love when my son is eager to count his points at the end. Each game takes us about 10-15 minutes and we usually play 3 or 4 games in a sitting. I think a 3 year old can get this concept as well. I wish we had it earlier than this, but still very glad we have it now.

Letters from Whitechapel Board Game Review

This game is a hidden-movement game that plays out like a collaborative effort to solve a puzzle. One player is Jack and must kill a target every night. From that point until the end of the round, the inspectors must examine around the crime scene until they find his trail. Then the chase is on! The inspectors alternate between searching for clues and trying to get ahead of Jack. If Jack makes it "home", that round is over. Each round, Jack has fewer options for targets, and fewer bonuses to speed his escape. The inspectors can win by capturing Jack or simply by preventing him from reaching his hideout.

The game feels a bit in favor of the inspectors, especially with the optional 'rushing' rule. It's quite fun for Jack, though, sneaking around and trying to outwit the others while not wasting precious time. We've played it three times and each was entertaining. I'm looking forward to gathering friends for another shot soon.

This review is not for the product per se. Those buying this card would not need reviews or reasons to buy it, they need to fill a gap in their decks.

I bought two copies of this card from MTG Deals, however as free shipping without tracking goes, this card got lost in transit and never reached me. I contacted the seller with my grievance and he asked me to wait till the end of the week. The Wednesday after that week, I received my cards.

However, I noticed that the cards were shipped on that previous Monday, as per the item checklist inside. The seller had sent a new set of cards.

I sure hope MTG Deals got those lost cards back from post. It's really nice to see that there are vendors willing to go that extra mile for customer satisfaction. I guess I am touched by this since I come from a place where customer satisfaction is the last priority of vendors.

Zombie-Opoly Board Game Review

The artwork and theme of the game are absolutely top notch. Game play is fun, especially with interactive 'chance' & 'community chest' cards. Huge disappointments with the peripheral items of the game though; game tokens, money, 'houses' and 'hotels' are all throw-away items. The 'femur' token is the only redemptive piece. The money issued with the game is different than what is pictured on Amazon; cheap and generic. The houses and hotels are 'boxes of flesh' and 'screaming humans'. Absolutely awful. Terrible game pieces that made everyone who wanted to play get a bitter-beer-face. This game had so much potential but fizzled in the end, but only because of the external pieces. If cooler tokens, money and house/hotel pieces can be found, this game would be amazing, but as is it is lacking and feels incomplete.
