The Klingon I.K.S. Gr'oth Expansion Pack is an expansion for the Star Trek Attack Wing Miniature Game, which happens to include great model of a Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser. The sculpt of this miniature is just amazing, and the paint job is really good on this ship. Fans of the original Star Trek series are going to have a treat with this one.

This miniature is about 2.5" long x 1.75" wide. I also bought the USS Reliant and the USS Enterprise expansion and I can say that this model is to scale with the Reliant (2" long x 1.25" wide) but not with the Enterprise (1.5" long x 0.625" wide).

In addition to the Klingon D7, this expansion includes a stand and a base for the miniature, one double sided ship token for the base, one maneuver dial. Of course there are plenty of other tokens as those included for the Star Trek Attack Wing Miniature Game.

To be honest, I originally bought this expansion for the cards. This expansion includes:

1 Maneuver Card
2 Ships: IKS Gr'oth and a standard Klingon D7
3 Captains: Koloth(7), Krell(4) and a beginner Klingon captain(1)
2 Officers: Korax and Cyrano Jones (tribbles)
1 talent card: Sabotage
2 torpedo cards: 1 Photon Torpedoes and 1 Magnetic Pulse
1 utility card: Projected Stasis Field
2 cards for one mission: Assassination
1 reference card: Tribble Tokens.

I don't own the Star Trek Attack Wing Miniature Game, yet. I had planned to use these miniatures in the X-Wing Miniature Game to see how Star Trek they feel. Now I'm convinced that I should get the starter set.

Overall, this is very good model for Star Trek TOS fans, and hard to pass expansion for Star Trek Attack Wing players.
