When you read the reviews on the dozens of bone sets offered on Amazon, you want to either laugh or cry. Too big, too small (just right?), bad markings, cracks, missing marks, missing tiles, won't handle abuse, paint sticks, shoddy workmanship... the list goes on!

I've ordered almost every one of these marginal versions following the trial and error process until stumbling on this set, and guess what-- I've saved you those trials, because THIS SET is THE ONE! Great craftsmanship, huge markings, truly big, hefty tournament size (others state tournament but aren't even close). Quality for the price is almost unbelievable, the polycarbonate is rich, thick, hefty, and the colors are flawless.

Spinners just mean you get the little rivet for shuffling/spinning face down and for spinner game versions. I'm sure you already know this, but there are dozens of variations of this ancient game, and all of them work great with this set. Velvet carrier comes with 28 bones (generally starting hand of 7 each player plus 14 in the draw pile face down).

I've seen bone sets on ebay for as much as $1,500! These "real bone" pieces are often collectors items, and I've actually "felt" some of the expensive ones at antique shops. Not to disparage collectors, but, honestly, this set feels just as hefty and well made, and my grandkids are giving them the abuse I hoped they would-- without damage.
