At first glance, this zombie just looks like a creature that gets smaller everytime it gets hit, which is useful in itself. However, reading it's ability carefully, it is very easy to make this zombie indestructible.

Since damage is taken by this zombie by removing a damage counter, it would essentially die when the last +1/+1 counter is removed...however.

By pairing it with a creature that pumps zombies up (aka Death Baron and several other creatures) by +1/+1, that is a permenant stat boost that cannot be "removed" by damage, hence, creating an idestructible zombie.

A 1/1 indestructible chump blocker is great, but paired with a death baron, it also gains death touch. A 1/1 indestructible death touching zombie is CRAZY!!!
