Travel Mancala Review

My daughter (7 years old) learned how to play Mancala at school with some of her friends. She asked me to get her the game so we could play it at home. After reviewing many of the other write-ups for other Mancala games offered through Amazon, I chose this one because it had favorable comments about the size of the pits. I am happy to report that the other reviews were correct - the pits are large enough to hold 15+ pieces without spilling over the side of the pit. The glass pieces that come with the game are many different attractive colors and they are irregularly shaped (which makes it easier to pick them up). The wood pits are smooth, but there are a few that are slightly rough in the corners of the pits where the game could use a little additional sanding to make the pits smoother - but this is not something that ever bothers us when we're playing the game. We're happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others who are looking for a quality Mancala game.
