30 some years ago i received a "deluxe scrabble board" - I still have it today, it has a swivel base and wood letters. Over the past several years I have enjoyed the "super scrabble" game more and bought one for myself; recently I wanted to give one as a gift and was very excited to see the "deluxe super scrabble" available so I purchased it.
The game fell short of my expectations - it does not actually have a swivel base but turns fairly easily, the letter don't lock in place easily and are rather annoying! All in all, the quality is just not what I expected, but, it IS "super scrabble" and fun to play regardless of it's quality!
