I haven't played Mahjong in many years, but, recently, I decided to get back into the game

I purchased a vintage set on Ebay, as part of the fun of Mahjong for me is the look, feel, and most of all 'SOUND' of the tiles, and i wanted to re-create what this was like in my childhood.

I ended up getting a set that appears to have Marblette tiles, and Bakelite racks. Bakelite betting disc and Bakelite dice.
The coin purse says M & L manufacture.

The case looks 50's or 60's in design, but could be 70's.

Then came the search for the racks.

I kept coming up against the caveat that most racks would not be guaranteed to fit a vintage set...

So i held off getting the clear acrylic, which were my fist choice.

Then, when someone said that the pushers might be able to be drilled out to fit an older rack, i decided to order the pushers and take my changes.

I am very happy to report that they came quickly and DO fit the racks... with room to spare...

So, if you have the old bakelite racks, with the brass coin holders on them.. there is a very good possibility that these will fit..
