I am new to MtG, or at least the physical card game. I played a little of the PS3 game, but wanted something I could tough. I'll keep this short:

The deck comes with some fairly good cards and seems to strike a good balance between a slow build up, with some nice early game cards/spells. The main thing I didn't like is there is only 1 showcase creature... I understand this from a marketing standpoint, but from a playability perspective, it's annoying. Still, I like Blue decks and this one doesn't disappoint. I will say though, that it doesn't really burn up the other players cards, but rather controls the field with force-tap spells and allows you to draw more cards. Like any good Blue deck, there are some good flying creatures. The White part of the deck is mostly support cards and a couple creatures. I would say it's 80% blue.
I did customize mine as I felt there were some minor things missing, and I wanted to add a couple cards I got from a booster that made it a little more attack-focused.
Overall I think it's a solid theme deck.
